Hi, welcome to my website and my Sink or Swim Loan Closing System ®.
It's funny, when I first got into the
real estate business, I had no one help me
and was basically given a telephone, a couple of bum leads and told to
sell mortgages. I wonder how I ever survived my first year.
(I trust many of you encountered the exact same training!).
I made plenty of mistakes and lost a lot of loans and money in those early days. But, something about this industry
excited me and I decided to stick to it. Years later, I'm glad I
did.
The mortgage industry is
unique in that even a person who has only a High School education, can
easily achieve the salary of a doctor or lawyer. I've never
encountered another industry like this one--where you can start with
little, yet reap great rewards!
Today,
I work regular hours, take Fridays off and
still have a life (something which is very rare for mortgage brokers and
loan officers to
have!). Every day, I am still a practicing Mortgage Broker facing
the same challenges and opportunities we all do. I'm
constantly learning and improving my skills.
Because of the system I
developed, my headaches are reduced and my income has increased
substantially. I have every loan file
under complete control and don't have to lie awake at night worrying
about rate lock expirations, closing appointments and other critical
dates. All information about a file is included in my mortgage worksheets (and let me
tell you, my processor, Nancy, is a very happy camper!). It wasn't easy, but every time
Nancy and I hit a hurdle on the way
to the closing table, I wrote it down and fit the roadblock somewhere in
my mortgage worksheets--never to be repeated again! (I'm a perfectionist by
nature). That's how I developed my
system and why it has proven very successful--because it comes from real
world experience. These worksheets
were born out of necessity and are the secret to my success. I urge
you not to make the same mistakes I did. Learn from me and my
years of experience--use my
