Banking Magazine
The official trade magazine of the Mortgage Bankers Association of
America. Although geared
more towards actual lenders than brokers, each issue contains a wealth
of information. Especially
if you are a mortgage broker who wants to someday transition to becoming

Magazine is considered to be the granddaddy of mortgage how-to advice.

Usually, it is also the official publication of the State’s

Another great publication with excellent “intelligence”.
Has a great people and places section.

Guide
Confused by the thousands of loan programs out there?
Get the Scotsman Guide. This
is one of the few publications I rely on daily to help place those
difficult loans. Has loan
matrixes and underwriting guidelines. This one magazine alone will save you hours of hunting
around. Close one loan with
it, and you’ve paid for the equivalent of a 15-20 year subscription!!!
